The RN Unit Manager role is a 14‑week assignment based in Camden, ME, with shifts of 5
* 8 hours (7-3 or 3-11).
- Responsible for 24‑hour oversight of nursing operations, ensuring high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care, clinical outcomes, and staff satisfaction.
- Manages staffing, recruitment, performance evaluations, and staff development, while fostering a safe, team‑oriented environment.
- Provides clinical leadership by organizing, supervising, and evaluating nursing care, ensuring compliance with regulations, medication management, and effective communication with physicians and families.
- Participates in quality improvement activities, incident investigations, and staff education programs.
- Requires an RN license, leadership experience, and a minimum of 2‑3 years nursing background depending on education, with strong communication skills and adherence to safety standards.
