Position:
Team Leader
The Team Leader participates in planning, administering, and evaluating the operation of their assigned unit during their shift. In collaboration with the Nurse Leader, the Team Leader is responsible for supporting the achievement of departmental goals related to Quality, Financial, Customer Service, Throughput, and People results. Additionally, the Team Leader ensures staff adherence to policies, procedures, evidence-based practices, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, regulatory requirements (such as The Joint Commission), and the Maine Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements- Licensed in Maine
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred, or candidate within 18 months of completing the degree
- Minimum of 2 years of current hospital-related experience
- Ability to care for post-surgical patients
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Current BLS certification
