Production Team Member

Department:
Manufacturing

Reports to:
Production Supervisor

The Production Team Member will work closely with other members of the production team to ensure that production targets are met and that products meet the required quality standards. This includes operating production machinery and equipment, monitoring production processes, inspecting finished products, and assisting in the set-up, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment. The Production Team Member will also be responsible for adhering to safety protocols and following standard operating procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment that aligns with ISO 9001 requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly detail-oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Operate production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the set-up, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Monitor production processes and ensure that production targets are met.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure that they meet the required quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Assist in the preparation and cleaning of production areas before and after production runs.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the Production Supervisor.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in robotics or automation is preferred
