Ecommerce Specialist (Contract) – Hybrid in Lewiston, Maine Position Summary
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to support daily ecommerce operations and partner needs. This role handles front‑line support, website content updates, routine site changes, and administrative tasks that keep our ecommerce function running smoothly. This is a hands‑on execution role that allows the Ecommerce Analyst to stay focused on analytics and optimization work.
This is a contract position with a hybrid schedule
. You’ll work onsite 2 days per week in Lewiston, Maine
.
- Provide general ecommerce support to sales partners and assist with routine questions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for partner issues and requests.
- Troubleshoot basic problems and escalate more complex issues to the Corporate Ecommerce Manager or Ecommerce Analyst.
- Ensure timely completion of partner requests and operational updates.
- Maintain popup stores and support updates to partner websites.
- Update and publish content using HTML including product pages, blog posts, footer text, and basic site edits.
- Ensure accuracy of technical content by executing approved updates and proper formatting.
- Manage and update product descriptions, images, and customer reviews.
- Support ecommerce marketing tasks including maintaining the marketing calendar and helping execute email campaigns.
- Create and maintain coupon codes and source codes.
- Assist with campaign setup and post‑campaign updates.
- Track and document requests, updates, and progress using ticketing tools or spreadsheets.
- Assist the Corporate Ecommerce Manager and Marketing team with administrative tasks and related duties.
- General understanding of ecommerce operations, interactive marketing, or website content management (typically two years of college or similar experience).
- HTML experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes of routine issues.
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical information in a simple, partner‑friendly way.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Flexible and open to changing business needs.
- 1 year of experience in ecommerce, website operations, or interactive marketing preferred.
- 2–3 years in customer support or sales is a plus.
