Talent Manager, Employee Relations
Job Summary
The Employee Experience Business Partner works collaboratively with the Employee Experience team and local leaders and employees to align facility practices and initiatives with Covenant Health’s strategic and operational goals. Established partnerships and provides HR consultation and support services to promote a high-performing culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
- Meets regularly with local departmental leaders to enhance communication and to support ongoing business needs.
- Consult with management, providing EX guidance when appropriate.
- Creates partnerships to drive local implementation of key Employee Experience initiatives.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the EX group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with internal and external legal resources as needed/required.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides EX policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identifies training/development needs for facility, individual departments, and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in significant Employee Experience initiatives. Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues.
- Attends and actively participates in conferences, educational programs/ workshops; applies acquired knowledge in practice.
- Assists in new staff orientation as assigned.
- Attends and actively participates in departmental staff meetings.
- May participate in system-wide task forces/committees that further the goals of the organization.
- Maintains required competencies and completes annual compliance courses on time.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, in HR Mgmt. or similar field preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, requires HR Certification from SHRM or PHR and a minimum of 5 years of employee relations experience.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a Generalist role.

Compensation Range$66,226.31 - $99,339.47
Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
