• we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated resident assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our assisted living and memory care facilities
• this role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well‑being while fostering a supportive environment
• assist residents with activities of daily living (adls) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• provide personal care and support to residents in a respectful and dignified manner
• administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs when necessary
• engage residents in social activities and promote their emotional well‑being through companionship and conversation
• maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living areas, ensuring a safe environment
• document resident care activities accurately using emr systems
• collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• support residents with mobility needs, including the use of hoyer lifts when required
• assist with behavior management strategies for residents with special needs or challenging behaviors
