Temporary RN – Emergency Department

Overview

Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a Temporary Registered Nurse to join their team in the CMMC Emergency Department! This position is full time, 36 hours, on a temporary basis for 13 weeks with the potential of one 13-week extension for a total of 26 weeks. Days, Mid Shift, and Nights available. The RN is responsible for managing individualized direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their hospitalization; functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License, in the state of Maine, BSN preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS (PALS desired).
• TNCC desired
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Prior team members must be separated for at least one year to be considered for a temporary contract.
