Overview
Physician Assistant CT and Vascular:
Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our CT & Vascular Surgery team as a Leader.
The position is an all-encompassing vascular surgery role including your own outpatient clinic panel, first-assist in the OR and endovascular suite, rounding and consults in the hospital. This position includes shared weekday and weekend call.
This position will report to the Chief of Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute (CMHVI). The ideal candidate should have previous leadership experience along with strong clinical skills; experience in Cardiology preferred.
Unencumbered license to practice as a PA in the state of Maine or eligible to receive in the State of Maine
PA must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program; NCCPA certified
PA must complete 100 hours of CME every two (2) years and take the recertification exam every six (10) years
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS preferred
Current DEA with no restrictions
Strong computer skills, including EMR/HER
Experience in Cardiology preferred
