Androscoggin Bank, a values driven, mutual savings bank based in Lewiston, Maine. We’re seeking a highly motivated Commercial Loan Processor to join our Commercial Lending team. Location:

Lewiston, ME or Portland, ME (Hybrid eligible)

• Prepare and review commercial loan documentation for CRE, business term loans, construction, and other commercial loan products.
• Coordinate directly with lenders, portfolio managers, title companies, legal counsel, and other partners to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including title review, flood determination, insurance verification, UCC filings, entity documentation, and collateral review.
• Manage loan booking, recording, collateral perfection, disbursements, payoffs, and other post‑closing activities with high accuracy.
• Research and resolve documentation questions, exceptions, and compliance issues.
• Serve as a subject‑matter resource for colleagues by sharing expertise and helping build team capability.
• Assist with audit/document requests, tracking and clearing exceptions, and maintaining complete and compliant electronic loan files.
• Actively participate in process improvements, system enhancements, and workflow updates.
• Support strong relationships across Commercial Lending, Credit, Loan Operations, and Compliance.

We’re looking for someone who is experienced, detail‑oriented, and proactive
, with the ability to navigate complex loan structures and contribute meaningfully to the success of the team.

• 4+ years of experience in commercial loan processing, commercial lending operations, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, due diligence, and closing workflows.
• Experience with CRE, construction, and/or multi‑entity structures strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SBA or FAME loan programs is a plus.
• Experience using nCino, Laser Pro, Fiserv, Navigator, or similar systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact with internal and external partners.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share knowledge with the team.
• Highly organized with strong follow‑through and accountability.
