A school-based registered nurse is needed to provide specialized support for a student with medical needs in a K-12 public school setting in Lewiston, ME. This contract opportunity runs through June 10, 2026, at 24 hours per week, typically from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accompany and monitor a student with a seizure disorder during school hours.
• Implement and follow the student's individualized seizure plan.
• Assist the student from bus pickup through the remainder of the school day.
• Provide close supervision as the student moves around the school using a drop harness and helmet.
• Maintain clear communication with school personnel regarding student health and safety needs.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Pediatric or school nursing experience highly preferred.
• Ability to manage and respond appropriately to seizure-related emergencies.
