The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants to teach GEY 101:
Physical Geology with a laboratory. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and to developing an innovative curriculum. The course is taught using a variety of modalities including in‑person and hybrid. The primary location for this position will be the UMA Lewiston Center. • Master’s Degree or higher
• A background in the physical sciences

• Prior college level teaching experience, using new technologies in teaching,
• Experience with learning management systems such as Brightspace
• Discipline related work experience
• Teaching non‑traditional students
• Experience working with diverse student populations and interest in contributing to UMA’s mission of transforming the lives of students

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and previous college teaching experience, in accordance with the PATFA contract.
