Northeast Bank is a Maine-based, full-service community bank. We are looking for motivated and talented individuals to join us as an intern this summer to make an impact in a growing company that cares about its employees, customers, and the communities it serves.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides quality customer service and sales support to the Bank and its affiliates through the Customer Success Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to inbound service calls, emails and chats to provide general bank information, specific customer account information, customer transactions and problem resolution
  • Create sales opportunities by cross‑selling and up‑selling bank products and services
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing training initiatives
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by the Company
  • Participate in outbound customer retention efforts and education
  • Complete timely and accurate customer interaction dispositions
  • Assist customer applications with our online account opening module
  • Provide dependable staffing coverage

  • Banking and/or financial services background preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for sustained periods of time
  • Flexible hours required, including weekends.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.
  • Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as calculator, copy machine and printers.
  • Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level.
