Our client is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent to join a growing team supporting commercial construction projects of varying size and complexity. In this role, you will assist with daily field operations, help coordinate subcontractors and deliveries, and support the Project Superintendent in maintaining schedule, safety, and quality standards. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to continue building a career in field leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day onsite coordination with subcontractors and trade partners to keep work progressing according to the project schedule.
  • Help plan short-term work activities and support material deliveries to ensure timely availability on site.
  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve onsite issues in coordination with the Project Superintendent and project team.
  • Complete daily logs, field documentation, and progress updates to support accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in subcontractor huddles and coordination meetings to confirm alignment on manpower, sequencing, and upcoming work.
  • Promote jobsite safety by reinforcing OSHA standards and company safety practices and helping maintain an organized worksite.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant role assisting a Project Superintendent on a commercial construction site.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and basic contract documents.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and a consistent commitment to jobsite safety.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to balance daily field tasks while supporting overall project goals.
Additional Notes
  • Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 (depending on experience).
  • Health insurance: 50/50 split for employee-only coverage.
