Front Office Clerk

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Front Office Clerk in Lewes and Lewiston, Maine. This Front Office Clerk role is in the health sector and is centered around patient registration in both the Outpatient and Emergency Departments. The workplace is onsite-local and offers varied shifts for this Front Office Clerk.

Responsibilities:

- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring the smooth flow of communication

- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

- Execute data entry tasks, keeping patient records up-to-date and accurate

- Correspond via email, providing clear and concise information to patients and team members

- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and enhance their experience

- Employ Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to manage and organize files

- Schedule appointments, ensuring a well-coordinated flow of patients

- Use your experience in customer-facing roles such as cashiers, bartenders, waiters, waitresses, etc., to enhance patient pacing and overall satisfaction.
