RD Electric is seeking a motivated 2nd to 4th year Apprentice Electrician to join our team in the Lewis-Clark Valley. We are a locally owned electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and service clients throughout the region. Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, professionalism, and strong team values.
This position is ideal for an apprentice who has foundational experience and is ready to continue developing skills under experienced journeymen while contributing meaningfully on job sites.
As a 2nd to 4th year Apprentice Electrician at RD Electric, you will work alongside licensed journeymen on residential, commercial, and service projects. You will assist with installations, troubleshooting, and system upgrades while continuing to build your technical knowledge and field experience in compliance with the NEC and local codes.

- Currently registered in a state approved apprenticeship program
- Two to three years of hands‑on electrical experience
- Working knowledge of the NEC and basic electrical principles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and professional conduct
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Support service upgrades, panel changes, and device installations
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Track and document apprenticeship hours as required
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take direction from journeymen and project leads
