Journeyman Electrician

RD Electric | Lewiston, Idaho | Full Time

$35 to $40 per hour

RD Electric is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Lewis Clark Valley. We are a locally owned electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and service clients throughout the region. As a Journeyman Electrician at RD Electric, you will contribute across residential, commercial, and service projects throughout the LC Valley and surrounding areas. You will troubleshoot, lead installations, support apprentices, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently in compliance with the NEC and local codes.

• Valid Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician license
• Experience working as a journeyman electrician
• Working knowledge of the NEC and local regulatory requirements
• Experience in both residential and commercial electrical work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional attitude and commitment to customer service

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately
• Perform service upgrades, panel changes, and device installations
• Lead job sites and communicate professionally with clients
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Mentor and guide apprentices
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and inspection records
