Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Surgery, Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery

Required Skills:
Valid licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery
Proven experience in orthopedic patient management, pre-operative and post-operative care
Knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures, imaging, and rehabilitation protocols
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop tailored treatment plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced clinical environment
Nice to Have
Skills:
Advanced training or certifications in orthopedic advances or surgery
Experience with EMR systems and medical documentation compliance
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Prior experience in a outpatient or hospital-based orthopedic setting
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years’ experience specializing in orthopedic surgical care
Other Requirements:
Must hold current state licensure and certifications applicable to the role
Willingness to travel for occasional training or specialist consultation
Certification in ACLS or ATLS is preferred
Valid DEA license if prescribing controlled substances
