Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lewiston, , requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience and an Idaho or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting,

• Case types include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotic Knee Replacement, Neuro, and Trauma;
Da Vinci robotic experience is preferred,

• Day shift schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts),

• On-call required one day per week and one weekend per month,

• Weekends required on an on-call basis,

Job Requirements

• Active Idaho RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS certifications are not accepted),

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting,

• Experience with General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotic/Da Vinci procedures, Trauma, and Neuro preferred,

• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating surgical cases, scheduling cases, ensuring supply readiness, case timeliness, family communication, and updating physician preference cards,

• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other OR personnel in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies,

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate,
