Children, Young People & Family (CYPF) Worker

£24 per hour

Role Overview

We are seeking a Children, Young People and Family (CYPF) Worker to provide intensive, flexible support to children, young people, and families facing complex challenges. The role focuses on building trusted relationships, delivering evidence-based interventions, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for families.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a caseload of families and deliver targeted, strengths-based interventions

* Build respectful and trusting relationships with children, young people, and families

* Deliver parenting, psychosocial, and evidence-based programmes

* Undertake direct work with children and young people (1:1 and group work)

* Contribute to assessments, reviews, and multi-agency planning

* Work in partnership with education, health, social care, and voluntary sector services

* Maintain accurate records and reports

* Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

Essential Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards

* Significant experience working with children, young people, and families

* Knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults

* Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills

* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends

Desirable

* Relevant professional qualification or training (e.g. counselling, social work, therapeutic practice)

* Experience delivering therapeutic or evidence-based interventions (e.g. CBT, MI)
