Role Overview
A further education college in London is seeking an experienced and qualified Brickwork Lecturer to deliver high‑quality construction education to post‑16 learners. You will play a key role in inspiring and supporting students to develop industry‑ready skills in brickwork through practical teaching, assessment, and curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities
 
Deliver engaging, sector‑relevant brickwork lessons to vocational learners
Plan and assess practical and theory sessions aligned to curriculum standards
Monitor and support learner progress, providing constructive feedback
Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievement, and assessment
Promote a positive learning environment that reflects the values of the college  Person Specification
We are looking for professionals with:

Full NVQ occupational competence in Brickwork
A1 Assessor’s Award and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of teaching and assessment practice in a further education context
Excellent communication skills and a learner‑centred approach
Commitment to student achievement and inclusive teaching
