A leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations in diagnostic imaging nursing, combining clinical expertise with management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management

• Assists Director/Manager with technical management and daily operations
• Creates and maintains team schedules
• Serves as technical expert for diagnostic imaging nursing
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, American College of Radiology
• Supervises and mentors nursing and ancillary staff

Clinical Duties

• Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures and moderate sedation
• Provides direct patient care in diagnostic imaging setting
• Administers medications and contrast under physician supervision
• Maintains sterile techniques during procedures
• Ensures radiation safety protocols are followed

Required Qualifications

• RN Diploma/Graduate Program
• ACLS Certification
• Diagnostic imaging experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with electronic health records

Working Environment

• Fast-paced diagnostic imaging department

• Must maintain patient confidentiality
