Your problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and clinical expertise will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care in urgent situations.
Responsibilities:- Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address emergent patient needs efficiently.
- Communication :
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. - Documentation :
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions. - Assessment :
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify urgent medical needs. - Prioritization :
Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity and urgency. - Risk Assessment :
Assess and mitigate potential risks to patient safety. - Equipment Operation :
Demonstrate proficiency in operating medical equipment in emergency settings. - Skill Proficiency :
Maintain competency in emergency nursing skills. - Teamwork :
Collaborate closely with physicians and ancillary staff. - Initiative :
Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.
- PALS within 6 month required
- TNCC within 1 year required
Skills:
Essential:
* Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
* Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
* Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
* Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
* Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records
Essential:
* RN - Registered Nurse
* BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
* ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* NIH - Stroke Certification
Nonessential:
* BABY Certification-15 Hrs Online, 5 Hrs Observation
Essential:
* RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program
Entry: USD $36.20/Hr. Max: USD $59.73/Hr.
