Job Summary

The Branch Manager provides strategic and operational oversight of front office functions and customer service to ensure smooth daily execution and alignment with company goals. This role ensures adherence to all company-defined operational standards and SOPs while playing a key role in driving branch performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration. The Branch Manager champions continuous improvement, staff development, and strategic execution to support company objectives and sustained growth.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED with 5–7 years of management experience in a professional setting, preferably in construction, retail/sales, home improvement, or operations-based industries.
  • Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related major with 3–5 years of relevant managerial experience preferred.
  • Proven financial acumen, including experience with P&L oversight, budgeting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions
  • Oversee and manage branch-level Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, analyze financial data, identify variances, and develop strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Support the execution of operational initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Operations and other executive leadership.
  • Monitor branch performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Run and analyze key operational, financial, and performance reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring adherence to company policies, goals, and customer service standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and take full ownership of escalated customer complaints, ensuring prompt, professional, and solutions-focused resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and protect the company’s reputation.
  • Maintain full oversight of accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and minimal aging to support healthy cash flow and overall branch financial performance; provide hands‑on support as needed to resolve outstanding balances and uphold company standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure front office staff are properly trained; assess performance, recommend pay adjustments, and implement disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
  • Serve as a resource and backup to team members to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Commit to continuous learning of company standards, systems, and industry products/services.
  • Assist in conducting and documenting physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Support additional tasks as delegated by company leadership.
