Position: Facilities Attendant

POSITION SUMMARYThe Facilities Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional member and guest experiences by ensuring all club events, fitness classes, meetings, and clubhouse spaces are properly prepared, maintained, and presented to the highest standards.
This position supports banquet operations, clubhouse facilities, fitness programming, and daily club activities by executing room setups, maintaining interior and exterior cleanliness, and assisting multiple departments to ensure seamless operations and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Event, Meeting & Fitness Setup- Always maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Interacts respectfully and professionally with members, guests, and team members.
- Demonstrates teamwork and willingness to support all departments.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming club environment.
- Adheres to all Club policies and OSHA safety standards.
- Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Extended hours may be required during peak season and major events.
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior banquet, hospitality, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to follow written BEO instructions and verbal directions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic understanding of safe lifting techniques and event equipment handling.
- Team‑oriented with a proactive, service‑focused mindset.
- Work performed indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and humidity.
- Exposure to noise and high‑traffic event environments.
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to safely move tables, chairs, dance floors, and event equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
- Extended periods of standing and walking (5–13 hours as operationally required).
- Ability to climb ladders as needed (potentially 25 feet or higher).
- Ensures all event setups are accurate, timely, and meet Club standards.
- Maintains clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Supports a team‑first culture within Club Maintenance and across departments.
