Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current academic year through June 12, 2026, at a middle school serving grades 6-12 in Bear, Delaware. This role requires on-site presence at the assigned school location.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning and mental health
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, especially at the middle school level
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- On-site work at a middle school in Bear, Delaware
- Full-time position at 37.5 hours per week
- Contract through June 12, 2026
