A well-established and expanding neuro-rehabilitation practice is seeking an Outpatient Neurology Medical Director to lead its growing services in Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for a Neurologist who is passionate about functional recovery, enjoys collaborative teamwork, and values long-term patient relationships in an outpatient rehab-focused setting.
The practice features a strong multidisciplinary team of physiatrists, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and chiropractors. Cutting-edge diagnostic technology includes computerized cognitive and vestibular testing.
Position OverviewLeadership role covering two outpatient offices ( minutes apart).
No call and no weekends!
Clinical focus may include: concussion, TBI, cognitive impairment, headaches, seizures, peripheral nerve/muscle disorders, spinal cord injury, spasticity/dystonia, and functional neurological symptoms.
Ability to customize patient mix based on interests.
Supervise and provide training to one NP/PA.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab and medical staff.
Optional procedures: occipital & trigeminal nerve blocks, botulinum toxin injections for migraine, dystonia, and spasticity, as well as baclofen pump management.
Optional involvement in medico-legal work.
Base Salary: $350,000
Additional Incentives: Up to $50,000 annually
