Software QA Engineer

Location: East Sussex

Excellent opportunity for a Software QA Engineer to join brilliant client's team based in Brighton. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for introducing and maintaining new technologies whilst utilising the latest industry software and practices. You'll become a vital part of an already successful software team who producing excellent software for a market leading company. The role will cover various aspects of the testing life cycle with a specific focus on improving QA processes and introducing test automation.

The role will require you to work closely with the development team, so strong communication skills are essential. The ability to improvise at both a tactical and strategic level is important to aid in prioritising short-term problem solving against longer term strategic goals.

Skills required:

Automation experience with Playwright
Type Script, Java Script  
Good understanding of REST APIs
Experience in creating front end and API automated test projects
Experience in performance and/or load testing and related tools
Excellent communication skills
