Grounds Maintenance Operative

Calling all Grounds Maintenance Operatives in East Lincolnshire! Platform Property Care has a permanent position for an experienced operator to join our team based in East Lincolnshire, providing high‑quality grounds maintenance and associated estate services.

You will be responsible for maintaining landscaped and communal green areas to a high standard in and around our estates. Duties will include:

• Tractor and pedestrian grass maintenance
• Brush cutting/strimming
• Hedge cutting
• Shrub pruning
• Planting, weeding and weed control
• Litter picking

• Basic salary £26,319 per annum
• Additional payment £564 per annum*
• Permanent contract with work all year round
• 25 days holiday plus 8 paid bank holidays; option to buy up to 5 days leave per year

* The advertised salary of £26,883 is made up of the base salary of £26,319 per annum and an additional payment of £564 per annum, pro rata.

• Motivated and passionate about making a difference to the external landscape; love working outdoors and creating great looking environments for customers
• Full UK driving licence (essential for this mobile role)
• Live within a reasonable commutable distance of Boston/Skegness/Louth
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions (suitable uniform provided)
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Relevant and demonstrable grounds maintenance experience, including the use of appropriate plant and machinery, ideally for a local authority or housing association
• Gardening/horticultural skills or qualifications such as PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates is an advantage

• Summer (March – November): 42.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday
• Winter (December – February): 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday
