The Role
We are recruiting an Electronics Repairs Technician to join a growing repairs and manufacturing environment based in Lewes.
This is a hands-on role focused on component-level electronics repair, fault-finding, and testing. You will work on electronic assemblies, diagnosing faults, carrying out SMT and through-hole rework, and ensuring repaired units meet defined quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to component level
 
* SMT and through-hole soldering and rework
 
* Identify root cause of faults, not just symptoms
 
* Functional testing of repaired units
 
* Soak and load testing where required
 
* Maintain accurate repair and test records
 
* Work to defined quality, safety, and technical standards
Required Experience
 
* HNC / HND / OND in Electronics or equivalent experience
 
* Minimum 3 years’ electronics repair, test, or manufacturing experience
 
* Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge
 
* Confident reading schematics and circuit diagrams
 
* Experience using common electronic test equipment
 
* High attention to detail and methodical working style
Desirable
 
* IPC certification (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001)
 
* SMT rework station experience
 
* Manufacturing or repairs-centre background
