Overview
HGV Technician
OTE: £46,000+
Location:
Lincoln
Basic Salary: £41,200
Working Hours:
- Week 1 – Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00
- Week 2 – Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:00 and Friday 07:00-12:00
- Week 3 – Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 plus Saturday Morning 09:00-12:00
- Up to 10% Pension Match

For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician- Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
- Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
- Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed.
- Assist the VMU Co-ordinator / FLM to liaise with the Transport and Logistics departments about vehicle availability.
- Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
- HGV licence is an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience gained in a HGV fleet maintenance operations (desirable)
