Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
The role will be based in our Mechanical Services Division in Ringmer on a salary of up to £38,000k. You will have a vehicle mechanics background and be qualified to test Class 4 vehicles; training will be provided for class 1, 2, 5 and 7 vehicles thereafter.
Main ResponsibilitiesIn the role of MOT tester, you will strictly adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures within a vehicle mechanics environment, including use of appropriate protective clothing and PPE. You will ensure that all MOT testing is carried out within our responsibility and untake MOTs with full regard for the safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself.
As MOT Tester you will also process Warranty Claims and when required, update job cards on the company Fleet Plan.
Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be qualified to test Class 4 vehicles and training will be provided for class 1, 2, 5 and 7 vehicles and hold a MOT Tester Certificate. You will have a good knowledge of vehicle mechanics, the ability to communicate well with customers, colleagues and the management team and have an awareness of health and safety.
Package Description- A salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum
