Live In Housekeeping

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeping Staff for a busy 26‑bedroom hotel located on Exmoor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to maintaining a pristine environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all hotel areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming, providing exceptional service in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

Other roles such as Bar & Restauranat duties might also be available for the right candidate to increase work hours if required.

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organising linens and towels
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of amenities
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the hotel
• Assist with custodial responsibilities including waste disposal and minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Support hotel management with housekeeping management duties to ensure smooth daily operations
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Knowledge of hospitality‑level cleaning methods is advantageous
• Experience in hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a live‑in role with flexible hours
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required
• A positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional guest service are essential
• Own transport essential as little or no public transport links in Exmoor area
