Exciting New Opportunity – Care and Support Manager ( Autism and Learning Disabilities)

Pay Scale: £32,000.00 - £37,000.00 per year

This is a new role within a new service area, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key part in setting up innovative supported living services in the Brighton and Hove and East Sussex area. If you’re passionate about shaping services that make a real difference, this may be the role for you.

You will promote and manage a needs-led service for adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and complex needs. Leading a dedicated care and support team, you will aspire to deliver outstanding care by adopting a person‑centred approach that supports self‑awareness, personal growth, and ensures each person we support the strongest voice in decision‑making and lifestyle choices. Your leadership will ensure that people feel safe and supported both at home and within their community.

• Experience of working with adults with Autism/Learning Disabilities and complex needs.
• Experienced in motivating, managing, and developing staff
• Clear understanding of leadership responsibilities in social care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about delivering excellent quality and driving continuous improvement
• Skilled at engaging with service users, families, advocates, and professionals
• Experience supporting people with high and complex needs (PBS skills advantageous)
• Confident with IT, including Excel and email for day‑to‑day management tasks
