We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrator to join our Administration team at HMP Lewes
, a category B/C Prison located in East Sussex.
HMP Lewes is a busy prison for a capacity for up to 700 males. HMP Lewes healthcare offers services for Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Misuse. We are recruiting for an Administrator to support the admin and wider healthcare team.

Monday - Friday
0800 - 1600
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £28574 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
- Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

Qualifications required
- English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Experience with in a healthcare background with Systmone experience - Essential
- Desire to learn, adapt skills and help with other tasks outside of the job description if needed.
- Excellent communication skills
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
