Pharmacy NVQ 2 / Technician - Deysbrook Pharmacy

Hours:

30-40 hours per week (shift basis)

Shift Times:
Monday to Friday 8 am-6:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays 9 am-12:30 pm

Qualification:

NVQ 2 (minimum) or NVQ 3/Pharmacy Technician and ACT in Pharmacy Services

Deysbrook Pharmacy seeks a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician or Dispenser to join our team. This role could be a great fit if you're passionate about community healthcare and thrive in a busy medical centre environment.

• Accurately dispense and label prescriptions following procedures.
• Ensure the safe supply and storage of medicines.
• Manage stock levels and order as needed.
• Update patient records while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assisted with monitoring dosage systems for patients on multiple medications.
• Verify prescription endorsements and declarations for reimbursement.
• Process invoices and maintain a clean, organised dispensary.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to support business goals.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services.
• At least three years of experience in a community pharmacy, ideally in a medical centre.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with basic IT skills (training provided).
• Professional communication skills.
