Location: Lewes

This role will be based around Asbestos / Fire / Legionella whilst being Field Based (our offices are in Lewes too) and this is a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

Do it right because it matters

  • Carry out asbestos, fire or Legionella assessments with technical accuracy and speed, always prioritising safety and compliance
  • Deliver clear, evidence-based reports that clients can trust to take action
  • Ensure every project meets or exceeds health and safety standards

Solve problems, not just identify them

  • Use your expertise to recommend practical, risk-reducing solutions for each client
  • Write clear, detailed specifications for remediation projects and confidently manage contractor activity
  • Cross-sell other Summit services only when they bring meaningful value to the client’s wider risk profile

Build trust through relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients, always acting as a trusted advisor
  • Represent Summit professionally at meetings, site visits and industry events
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with contractors, clients and colleagues

Think like an owner

  • Take responsibility for developing your own client base and identifying new business opportunities
  • Proactively seek ways to improve services and efficiency across the business
  • Contribute to wider business discussions, from recruitment and mentoring to process improvement and company strategy

Essential skills and experience due to the nature of the role
  • Minimum 5 years in environmental surveying or consultancy
  • Proven business development and client relationship skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident with IT and report systems
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary - 25-40k
