KS1 Supply Teachers

Location: East Grinstead & Surrounding Areas Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Days Salary: Paid to scale – M1 to UPS3 or £130–£150 per day Hours: School hours (typically 08:30–15:30)

We’re looking for enthusiastic KS1 teachers to join our supply team across East Grinstead and the surrounding areas. Each day brings a new classroom, new pupils and fresh challenges — ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to keep their practice vibrant.

• Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 (Years 1–2)
• Creating warm, positive and inclusive learning environments
• Supporting early literacy, phonics, numeracy and social development
• Adapting quickly to different schools, routines and class needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupil wellbeing
• Working collaboratively with school staff and following school policies

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching KS1 in primary settings
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics frameworks
• A nurturing, patient and creative approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Someone reliable, adaptable and confident in new environments
