Experienced Primary Teaching Assistant

Aspire People are looking for a committed Experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to support learning and classroom activities in a primary school. This role is perfect for someone who has hands‑on experience working with children in schools, youth work, or child support roles but may not hold formal teaching qualifications.

• Assisting teachers in classroom management and learning activities
• Supporting individual pupils and small groups to achieve learning goals
• Helping pupils develop social skills, confidence, and independence
• Supporting classroom routines, including lunchtime and break supervision
• Contributing to the development of individual learning plans
• Monitoring pupil progress and reporting to the teacher

• Recent experience working with primary-aged children, either in schools, youth clubs, or childcare settings
• Patient, adaptable, and approachable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
