Aspire People are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS and KS2 in a nurturing primary school environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusion and helping children with SEND, SEMH, or learning difficulties thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, or social and emotional needs
- Assisting with personal care and sensory-based activities where required
- Supporting classroom activities and delivering interventions
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Recent experience supporting SEND pupils in a school or educational setting
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
