Overview

Edu Talent is supporting a small welcoming school in Lewes seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to take a mixed EYFS / KS1 class of just 16 students. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small close-knit environment where you can make a real difference to every child's learning and development.

• Plan and deliver engaging differentiated lessons for a mixed EYFS / KS1 class
• Support all students in achieving their potential with a focus on individual learning needs
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Track and assess student progress providing feedback to pupils parents and colleagues
• Provide pastoral support and mentoring as required
• Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to support student learning and wellbeing
• Contribute to the wider school community including extra-curricular activities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching EYFS and / or KS1 ideally in small or mixed-age classes
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons and provide tailored support to individual learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible adaptable and committed to fostering a positive inclusive learning environment
