Pediatric Occupational Therapist - Schoolage - $1,500 sign-on

Location: Levittown, NY

Position: Occupational Therapist (Schoolage)

Type: Fee for Service with Full‑Time potential

Hours: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., 2 days/week

Sign‑on Bonus: $1,500 after 90 days of employment with active cases.

Compensation: $60 per hour (average; rates determined by service provided, experience, license/certifications).

• Part‑Time (25+ hrs/week):

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect and report data on each IFSP/IEP goal’s progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Passionate about working with children and families.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
