Please include as part of your supporting statement your experience of working with children and young people.
Responsibilities- Plan, facilitate and supervise a wide range of play-based activities and social experiences both in and outdoors. This will include setting up the play space to ensure it is safe, stimulating and welcoming.
- Empower children to lead their own play, guiding them as needed to boost their creativity and independence.
- Support children to prepare healthy snacks in line with dietary and nutritional need and guidelines.
- Support and encourage children to build confidence, self-esteem, and lifelong skills through play and exploration.
- Deal with accidents and incidents, responding calmly and professional, ensuring children’s health and wellbeing needs are met.
- is fun, engaging and has experience of working with children and young people of all ages.
- holds a relevant childcare qualification, or is willing to work towards one as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
- is reliable, has good communication skills and can work as part of a team.
