Laboratory Assistant - RURAL HEALTH
Performs routine collection procedures, assists technologists and technicians in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology. Processes laboratory specimens. Coordinates and performs clerical/reception, client/patient/customer related duties pertaining to laboratory testing and relays information between the laboratory, other hospital areas and clients.
Location & Status- This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.

Perform routine collection procedures and support laboratory operations across Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology. Process laboratory specimens. Coordinate and perform clerical/reception duties and relay information between the laboratory, other hospital areas, and clients.
Qualifications &Preferred Qualifications
- HS Diploma - OR - GED Equivalency
- Laboratory experience
- Phlebotomy experience
- Medical Terminology
- Computer experience to include Windows Excel and Word
- Experience may include:

Compensation& Compliance
The wage range for this position is $15.40 - $23.08 per hour. Final placement within the range is based on relevant experience and other factors. This base pay may be supplemented by shift differentials, on-call or standby pay, overtime, and bonus opportunities. Qualified applicants in compliance with applicable laws will be considered for employment.
