EMT Paramedic - Medical Transport

The paramedic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with department specific personnel. The paramedic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards as defined by departmental policy. Must also be able to participate in Departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education.

• This role is onsite and reports onsite daily as scheduled.
• Must be located within a commutable distance of the listed office location:
  Texas, Levelland.
• Flexibile and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs.
• Work Status:
  Per Diem / On Call (shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies).
• Shifts Available:
  Day.

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire:
  Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems - OR - Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.

• Covenant Ambulance: 1 year of experience in emergency medical services.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
