The Case Manager position will be responsible for delivering services under the Reaching Home:
Canada’s Homelessness Strategy Project funded by the Rural Development Network and Government of Canada. The case manager will provide individualized, evidence-based, wrap-around support for those who are housing insecure or precariously housed across the BEW FCSS service area.

• Education and experience in human services related field.
• Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers or the Child and Youth Care Association of Alberta is an asset.
• A solid understanding of issues related to housing insecurity and homelessness.

• Works with clients to access and maintain housing and prevent homelessness.
• Connects clients to intervention services, income and financial assistance, employment, job training and community integration services.
• Supports clients to navigate mental health and addiction services.
• Collaborates with community partners to streamline response and services.

  SLGBTQIA+, women and children, Low German Mennonites, seniors, Indigenous and newcomers).

• Thrives in a diverse day-to-day environment.
• Practices trauma-informed, strengths-based and inclusive service delivery.
• Maintains positive professional relationships with clients and partner agencies.
• Demonstrates flexibility based on client needs.
• Holds a valid driver’s license.
