Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings and premises, apartments for signs of pests, applying treatments to eliminate pests in the assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect buildings and outside areas to identify infestation sourceInspect infested area and determine type of treatment requiredAssist to prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas using mechanical or electric toolsFumigate apartmentsPlace and set traps; and install other animal control barriers as requiredCheck suites to confirm if they are prepared for pest treatment; and physically prepare suites if they are not preparedClean out areas that harbour pestsAdvise managers and tenants on how to prevent pest infestation.Post required notices for pest control treatmentAssist pest control team in moving furniture, etc.Ensure that all work is documented and updated according to Company's policy, prepare and submit reportsOther related duties as assigned by Regional ManagerQualifications and Requirements
Must possess provincial pesticide applicator licenseValid First Aid and CPR certificate will be an assetPrior pest control experience in a residential multi-family environment will be an assetMust possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicleMust successfully complete a security clearancePhysically fit
