As a Maintenance Foreman, you will play a hands‑on leadership role in keeping our facilities running smoothly, safely, and professionally. Job Duties:

  • Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
  • Respond to incoming service tickets from various locations in a timely manner, prioritizing work and determining appropriate response strategies
  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs such as electrical, plumbing, painting, patching walls, and hanging shelves
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot facility equipment issues, determining root causes and long‑term repair solutions
  • Assess repair projects, determine scope of work, and identify required supplies, equipment, or external trades
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and door locks
  • Maintain property appearance by removing garbage, mowing lawns, landscaping and snow removal
  • Provide guidance and direction to other maintenance staff or contractors as required
  • Communicate proactively with management regarding site conditions, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required

Credentials and Characteristics of our Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven leadership ability and team‑building skills to effectively motivate, inspire, and manage employees
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in general maintenance or related positions where you were required to recognize electrical, plumbing, mechanical malfunctions, or equipment failures
  • Formal training in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems or related building systems is strongly preferred
  • Strong team player who is willing to support the team hands‑on, when needed
  • Experience coordinating work, including prioritizing and scheduling work effectively
  • Able to operate equipment such as a riding lawn mower, skid steer, payloader, and telehandler, as well as pull various trailers with a pickup truck
  • Customer‑oriented, professional, and respectful
  • Able to perform physically demanding work, which includes standing, walking, crouching and the ability to lift 50 lbs
  • The ability and willingness to travel to locations outside of Lethbridge
  • Available to work at varying times, dependent on the work that needs to be completed
  • A Valid Driver’s License and a minimum of 3 years of verifiable insurance driving with a clean insurance record
