motivated individual to join our professional team as an Apprentice
Heavy Duty Mechanic at our Lethbridge, AB branch.

What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including (but not limited to) earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor liftsPerform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairsTest repaired equipment for proper performanceMaintain documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders in a thorough and timely mannerAdhere to all company Health and Safety PoliciesWhat You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
2nd or 3rd year registered apprenticeMinimum of 3 years of mechanical experience, preferably working on a variety of construction equipmentValid Class 5 driver’s license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstractMust have a complete set of toolsMust be available to work overtime as required, and to work on an on-call rotationStrong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic toolsStrong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motorsFlexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous mannerSelf-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervisionPride in what you do!We passionately believe that our inclusive and diverse team is key to the success of our business.
