- Volunteers must register through The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and be in good standing with CRA
Must be 18 years old or above
Other Requirements- Must be in good standing with your own taxes
- Must have computer skills, in good standing with their own taxes
- Be empathetic and kind
- Should be comfortable with numbers
- Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m.
-12 p.m. during tax season from March to May or 1 p.m.
-3 p.m. all year
Womanspace Resource Centre is a community-based organization that has been active in Lethbridge since 1993 and has been a registered charity since 2021.
Our vision: A thriving community where all women are empowered to have financial independence.
Towards that vision, Womanspace runs a free income tax clinic affiliated with Canada Revenue Agency’s Community Income Tax Volunteer Program operated by a part-time staff person and several volunteers. We also collaborate with other community-based organizations to offer financial literacy sessions.
We are looking for one or two new board members.
