Marketing and Communications, Student Assistant The Opportunity
The Student Assistant will contribute to the development, creation and roll‑out of social media content. The focus is on creating authentic and organic content. This role is designed to bring the student perspective to Keyano’s social channels, resulting in content that is relatable and engaging to current and prospective students.
Hours – evening and weekend hours as scheduled.
Duration – October 2025 – May 2026

- Social content – brainstorm, research and develop creative ideas with the Digital Communications Coordinator (posts, stories, reels, etc.) to campus events and highlight student life at Keyano College. Support the marketing department in creating content, and assist with photography and videography when needed.
- Collaboratively with the Marketing & Communication staff, connect with the Huskies, Theatre, Student Association and the overall student body to create authentic content.
- Stay up to date with online trends to share the Keyano story with its audience.
- Other related duties as required.
- Current enrolment as a student at Keyano College.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Social media fluency.
- Ability to use digital tools to create social media content.
